Forest School

What is Forest School?

Forest School is a child lead, holistic form of learning and this experience will enrich children in thinking more closely and deeply about the world we live in. It endeavours to boost self esteem by taking risks and having a sense of ownership for their time during the session in nature.

Mrs Billing is currently working towards becoming a qualified Forest School Lead. We are confident that in the future, Forest School will become a core part of what Penenden Heath Pre-School can offer your child.

Currently, we are developing an area behind the Pre-School Hall as our Forest School area. We are also running a pilot scheme for Forest School in term 6.
